Rainbow Bridge has often been a subject of my paintings. The Dog Heaven
is the place where our beloved pets wait and play till we come to take them into heaven.
This painting is rare because I usually do not paint human forms. Not that I do not like to paint
people- it is just that they usually fail to inspire me. Once in a while though a
hero like Jim Childs comes along. In this painting I captured
the moment when he comes to the Bridge to be reunited with his beloved Dogs.
Those who love and care for homeless pets and help
them find a better life are truly heroes.
This painting is dedicated to Jim Childs and Gryphon.
