This painting was inspired by a recent trip to the Getty Museum.
I could spend my lifetime in the halls of the Getty exploring every shadow and scene.
For those who are fans of my animal portraits this one is indeed an animal painting.
It is a Dachshund dog painting- hence the two portraits on the wall. The door is open to the outside as if the owner stepped out with beloved pets in tow perhaps to check the mail or converse with a neighbor.
20% of the proceeds from this painting will be donated to Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue!
