This painting does not have any animals in it... I belive it is the first painting I have done in 3 years that did not have an animal of some sort hidden about. This painting was done with every intent of adding some form of creature but as I worked I decided to let it be as is.
The coastline is Northern California- near the lovely town of Mendocino where I spent many summers in my youth.

I really like the movement of the water and the way the light comes thru the curl of the wave. Nice job
